Originally from New Zealand, I’ve lived and worked in several countries, and now call Provence, France my home.
I have a background in investment banking and commercial insurance, but diverted away from this career path in 2013 after furthering my education in communication and public relations.
I started this site, Le Long Weekend, in 2016 when I moved to France, with a view of sharing my adventures around France & Europe. It has since become one of the most trusted sources of information for travel within Provence and the wider Mediterranean region.
No longer solely about my own travel experiences, the Le Long Weekend team has grown. But sharing insightful, firsthand experiences of a destination remains at our core. You can read about our regular contributors here.
